Notes on Kite Aerial Photography: Location Maps

University of California, Berkeley
Berkeley, California

This map shows my home territory -- I live within a block of gallery location #6. The University of California, Berkeley, a lovely campus by any standard, is the setting where I've practiced flying in more constrained circumstances. It is also the place where I am developing skills related to KAP Subject #2 - the Built Landscape. The large number of gallery page dots is undoubtedly the result of many "the wind is blowing, maybe I can get in a quick roll" occasions.

Note: This map series was created using USGS maps. I worked with the CD-ROM collection of Bay Area maps created by Wildflower Productions. I've really enjoyed this software and recommend it to others interested in maps of the San Francisco Bay Area.

The map series may lag a bit behind my posting of gallery pages. I will try to update it every month or two. For the latest gallery pages see the What's New section. A diagram of gallery location map relationships is available as well.
