Notes on Kite Aerial Photography: Location Maps
Point Bonita on the Marin Headlands is home to the lighthouse that guards the entrance to San Francisco Bay. It also sheltered an early lifeboat station that bravely served mariners in trouble on the rocks flanking the bay's entrance.
Note: This map series was created using USGS maps. I worked with the CD-ROM collection of Bay Area maps created by Wildflower Productions. I've really enjoyed this software and recommend it to others interested in maps of the San Francisco Bay Area.
The map series may lag a bit behind my posting of gallery pages. I will try to update it every month or two. For the latest gallery pages see the What's New section. A diagram of gallery location map relationships is available as well.
