Notes on Kite Aerial Photography: Location Maps

Gallery Page Locations
The San Francisco Bay Area

This series of maps, begun in early 1997, provides a cartographic key locating the aerial photographs presented in my gallery pages. In this collection you will find key maps based on USGS quads ranging from a 1:500,000 scale to 1:12,000. The map below is the most expansive of the set and shows the distribution of my San Francisco Bay Area kite aerial photography activities to date. These are clickable maps, selecting the lightly-shaded areas will lead you to more detailed maps. Selecting the numbered dots will take you directly to a gallery page.

Note: This map series was created using USGS maps. I worked with the CD-ROM collection of Bay Area maps created by Wildflower Productions. I've really enjoyed this software and recommend it to others interested in maps of the San Francisco Bay Area.

The map series may lag a bit behind my posting of gallery pages. I will try to update it every month or two. For the latest gallery pages see the What's New section. A diagram of gallery location map relationships is available as well.
